What Does “Chatzutzot” Mean?
Chatzutzot tefillin feature fine yet visible grooves between the compartments of the head tefillin. These grooves create a sharp and precise separation between each bay, giving the tefillin a refined and prestigious appearance, while preserving accurate squareness and maintaining the structure over time.

Batim Quality
Batim made from a single piece of beheimah gassah leather – each bay is crafted from one solid piece, without glue or attachments. This is a top-tier halachic and structural standard, ensuring durability for many years.
Gold AA level of hidur – the highest classification in tefillin craftsmanship. Every detail, including the kesitza, titura, and squareness, is produced to elite standards without compromise.
Premium American leather – known for its durability and superior quality. The leather undergoes a special “Sweet Red Shifrah” treatment used to coat and stabilize the batim, providing a uniform look, enhanced strength, and a luxurious finish. The process is performed with no concern of salting, in full compliance with halachic standards and Mehudarin requirements.
Perfect squareness – marble smoothing, internal grooves for lasting precision, and delicate external grooves for an enhanced aesthetic finish.
Stitching & Straps
Stitching is done with natural sinew – in full compliance with halacha. The straps are handmade from premium leather, black on both sides, thick and polished, built to last.
Parchments
Written by a God-fearing certified Sofer STaM. Checked by both computer scan and meticulous manual inspection. Available nusach options: Sephardi, Beit Yosef, or Ar”i.
Kashrut Certification
Each pair includes an official seal under the supervision of Harav Moshe Shmuel Klein, with a signed Machon Aliya certificate of kashrut.
