Tefillin Sephardic – Mehudarot are crafted for those seeking halachic precision and upgraded quality in accordance with the traditions of Sephardic and Mizrahi communities – including Moroccan, Iraqi, Persian, Bukharian, and non-Baladi Yemenite Jews.
These Tefillin follow the halachic opinion of Rashi, the standard practice in Sephardic communities. The parshiyot are written in direct Torah order, ensuring full compliance with the halachic principle of kesidran (in proper sequence). Tefillin Rabbeinu Tam, in which the order differs, requires skipping during writing and is considered an extra stringency for those who seek to enhance the mitzvah beyond the basic obligation.
The Tefillin boxes are made from thick animal hide (behema gassa), carefully handcrafted to maintain their square halachic shape and structural strength.
The parchments are written by a certified Sofer Stam, known for his expertise and yirat shamayim (fear of Heaven), and undergo double halachic inspection.
The Tefillin come rolled, tied, and ready to wear, with black leather straps pre-attached in the traditional Sephardic knot.
They are packaged inside Tefillin cases, placed in a soft fabric zippered pouch, and delivered in a white cardboard box for maximum protection.
Package includes:
- One pair of Tefillin (Arm and Head) – Sephardic, Mehudar level
- Thick-hide leather boxes (behema gassa)
- Pre-tied black straps with Sephardic knot
- plastic Tefillin cases
- Soft zippered fabric pouch
- White cardboard outer box
- Kashrut certificate under Badatz Machon Aliya
- Option to choose right-handed (left arm) or left-handed (right arm)
