These Tefillin are written in the Beit Yosef script, the classic Ashkenazic style accepted by all halachic authorities. The writing is performed by a skilled and G-d-fearing Sofer Stam, with full kavanah, precision, and sanctity.
Rabbeinu Tam’s order of the parshiyot differs from that of his grandfather Rashi. To maintain the requirement of kesidran (writing in proper order), the Sofer first writes the first two parshiyot (Kadesh Li and Vehaya Ki Yeviacha), skips the third, writes the fourth (Shema), and only then returns to complete the third (Vehaya Im Shamoa).
This method requires halachic expertise and great care.
The Tefillin boxes are made from handcrafted thick-hide leather (behema gassa) – offering superior durability, squareness, and halachic strength.
Black leather straps (dyed on both sides) are tied in the Ashkenazic style and come ready for use.
