These Tefillin are written in the Arizal script, a distinct style rooted in the teachings of the Arizal HaKadosh and embraced by Chassidic communities.
This script features unique letter shapes, especially Shin, Ayin, Tzadi, and Chet, and includes full tagim (crowns) on Shaatnez Gatz letters, in accordance with Kabbalistic tradition.
They are written according to Rabbeinu Tam’s order of parshiyot, which differs from Rashi’s:
Kadesh Li, Vehaya Ki Yeviacha, [skip one], Shema, and then return to write Vehaya Im Shamoa.
This unique sequence preserves kesidran (proper order) and requires a highly trained Sofer Stam with meticulous halachic awareness.
The Tefillin are made with handcrafted thick-hide (behema gassa) boxes, known for durability, squareness, and halachic strength.
The parchments are written with premium ink on select klaf (parchment), and the straps are black on both sides, tied in the Chassidic knot style.
